{"id":97,"date":"2006-02-08T10:04:52","date_gmt":"2006-02-08T16:04:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/journal.ragedied.com\/?p=97"},"modified":"2006-02-08T10:04:52","modified_gmt":"2006-02-08T16:04:52","slug":"computity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/revivalprojects.com\/journal\/2006\/02\/08\/computity\/","title":{"rendered":"Computity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Computers + Community = Computity.<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Portmanteau\">portmanteau<\/a> was coined by <a href=\"http:\/\/emerginggod.com\/journal\/\">Reverend John Musick<\/a> on Friday, February 3rd, in the year of our Lord, 2006.<\/p>\n<p>I actually forgot to post this until <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artbyred.com\/blog\/2006\/02\/07\/a-day-full-of-happy-little-surprises\/\">my sister, jen<\/a> posted about it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Computity&#038;start=0&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8&#038;client=firefox-a&#038;rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official\">Google<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/dictionary.reference.com\/search?q=Computity\">Dictionary.com<\/a> say it isn&#8217;t a legitimate word&#8230; yet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Update-<\/strong> I did  find the word <a href=\"http:\/\/dictionary.reference.com\/search?r=2&#038;q=Compotator\">com<em>potato<\/em>r at dictionary.com<\/a> &#8217;cause I like potatos, but, as you can see if you click the link, the word has nothing to do with potatos&#8230; unless your drinking vodka&#8230; mmm, potatos&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Computers + Community = Computity.
